With a background in Environmental Science and in Biodiversity Conservation and Management, she has experience in project management, dissemination and knowledge transfer (e.g. FP7, H2020, Interreg programmes), also as project coordinator and work package leader. She has spent the last years in international governmental (European Commission Joint Research Centre, Italy) and non-governmental (CIPRA International, Liechtenstein) organisations, and in the private sector (CTAQUA, Spain), working on different topics in different ecosystems, always focusing on biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services.

In her current position as project manager of the FishClim project (Twitter: @FishClim) at the ICMAN-CSIC, her main activities include supporting the principal investigator in the coordination of tasks and deliverables by the different working groups as well as writing of scientific-technical reports. She is also responsible for the identification of environmental variables and ecosystem services in the field of sustainable fisheries management for the species studied in the project and for the adaptation and dissemination of the information and knowledge generated to the fisheries sector and national, European and international administrations ("stakeholders"). She is also collaborating in the H2020 EuroSea project, primarily in the Ocean Health Demonstrator.
