Oleg Belyaev is a biologist graduated from the University of Alcalá and specialized in Molecular Biology by the University of Umeå in Sweden. Later on, he completed a MSc program in Oceanography at the University of Cádiz, where he worked in the implementation of convolutional neural networks applications for Antarctic wildlife monitoring. Currently, he is part of the ecology and coastal management department of ICMAN-CSIC, were he works with Python in the development of satellite-based tools for oceanic processes observation and research.
